HOW ACQUIRED: Assigned by the Edmonton Oilers (NHL) to the Thunder from the Oklahoma City Barons (AHL) on 10/4/10

DRAFTED: Selected in the fifth round (133rd overall) of the 2009 National Hockey League Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
2009-10:
Signed an amateur tryout agreement with the Springfield Falcons (AHL) and was 1-1-0 in 3 games with a .913 save percentage and 2.57 goals-against-average … earned 30 saves in first pro game at Providence on 4/9 … earned first career win vs. Manchester on 4/11 with 28 saves (7-3 win)

JUNIOR: During 2009, before the draft, was ranked as the second highest North American goaltender by the Central Scouting Bureau … was a member of Team Canada at the 2011 World Junior Hockey Championships … earned 14 shutouts, a record of 123-57-8, save percentage of .906, and goals-against-average of 2.77 in 200 career games with Cape Breton and Acadie-Bathurst of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League … was named to the Canadian Hockey League All-Rookie Team and received the QMJHL Rookie of the Year award in 2007-08 … achieved career best totals in saves (1367), shutouts (5) and goals-against-average (2.62) in 2009-10 with Cape Breton.

FAST FACT: Suited up for the Oilers at the 2011 YoungStars Tournament in Penticton, B.C. and earned a win in his only appearance on Sept. 11 with 22 saves against the Vancouver Canucks
