Roy: Goalie of Week Runner Up
PRINCETON, N.J. – Pat Nagle of the Florida Everblades is the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Feb. 13-19.
Thunder goaltender Olivier Roy was named runner up for the award, one day after being recalled by Edmonton to the Oklahoma City Barons of the AHL.
Nagle was 3-0-0 with a goals-against average of 1.63 and a save percentage of .944 last week in three appearances last week.
Roy was 2-1-0 during the week, helping guide the Thunder to a 3-1-0 week and a six point weekend in wins vs. Colorado and Idaho.
He collected a .950 save percentage and 1.68 goals against average during the week.
Runners Up: Chris Carrozzi, Ontario (3-0-0, 2.00 GAA, .945 save pct.) and Olivier Roy, Stockton (2-1-0, 1.68 GAA, .950 save pct.).
Also Nominated: Peter Mannino (Chicago), Kyle Jones (Colorado), Ryan Zapolski (Gwinnett), Riley Gill (Kalamazoo), Jussi Rynnas (Reading), Philipp Grubauer (South Carolina) and Alec Richards (Toledo).
