Stockton To Capture Fans Under Ice
The Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s New York Islanders and AHL’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers, have announced that the Thunder will be putting their fans under the Stockton Arena ice surface as part of their 2014-15 season ticket renewal campaign.
As part of the new “Thunder Loyalty Savings Program,” the team is providing fans the opportunity to commit to their seats for one, two and three year terms, with each term featuring its own unique benefits package.
Season Ticket Holders who select the longest term option will see their names imprinted on the red line, and will receive their name as a keepsake at the conclusion of each season.
“Our fans are as integral to our team as our players,” said Thunder Team President Brian Sandy. “What better way to say ‘thank you’ and recognize our fans than to integrate them into the ice surface?”
“In over 10 years of supplying ECHL Teams with under ice graphics I have to say that this application is a first,” explains AMI Graphics General Manager Ed Miles. “As with many of the teams in the league, yet another innovative request to use our technology to recognize the all-important fan!”
To participate in these unique incentives, fans must renew their season tickets by May 31, when the artwork is slated to go into production.
