Team Announce Changes in Corp. Sales

The team promotes Debra Bachle and announces the hiring of Ron Posey and Chris Collins.

Stockton, Calif - The Stockton Thunder, proud member of the Stockton community since 2005, has announced per Team President Brian Sandy changes to the team’s Corporate Sales & Service department.

Central Valley native Debra Bachle, has been promoted to Vice President, Corporate Sales & Service for the Thunder.

Bachle has been with the team since its inception in 2005 and has been instrumental in the development of many of the franchise’s signature events, including Thunder Goes Pink , We Paint the Ice Night, Easy Being Green and Hockey with Heart. She has longstanding relationships with local and regional companies through her 30 years in local sports and media, including a background in full service advertising agencies and radio sales.

Ron Posey will now serve as Director, Corporate Sales & Service for the franchise.

Posey has 45 years of experience in marketing and advertising in television, radio, outdoor, and events, and has earned the both a Telly Award and a Radio Advertising Bureau Award for his television and radio advertisements.

Posey served as the Vice President of Western Automotive Journalists, was a past writer and tour coordinator with Ski Magazine, is the former President of the Gateway Rotary and also served as the former Commodore of the Lake Don Pedro’s Sailing Club.

Former San Jose Sharks color commentator Chris Collins now serves as Director, Corporate Sales & Broadcasting for the Thunder. In addition to his time in the National Hockey League, Collins was a top-rated morning radio show host in Sacramento, San Jose, San Francisco, Chicago, and Seattle.

Collins, who Thunder fans will recognize after assisting in the broadcast booth last season, also has served as a General Manager of the Bay Area Seals Hockey Club, Lake Tahoe Hockey Club and the China Sharks. With the Seals, Collins led his expansion team to the WSHL league title game and to the AAU national title championship game. In 2007 he officially became the first non-Chinese resident since 1949 to become a General Manager in charge of a China National Sports team.

All three members of the Corporate Sales team will focus on marketing and premium seating programs.
