An ECO-Friendly Campaign and Weekend of Events

In an effort to showcase eco-friendly initiatives in the Central Valley, the Stockton Thunder hosted the sixth annual Covanta Energy Easy Being Green games on March 14 and 15, 2014.

The weekend event featured a “Green Fair” at both games. Local environmentally friendly organizations were on site to educate attendees on the importance of a wide array of environmental issues and eco-friendly products.

The Thunder would like to congratulate American Recycling Company for being selected as the Thunder’s 6th annual Easy Being Green Award winner! They were selected in conjunction with the Valley Green Team, in part because of their commitment to recycling collection and for their continued commitment to keeping jobs here in California.
