Dear Stockton Thunder Fans - On behalf of our owner Michael Reinsdorf, front office staff, coaches and hard working players, we want to again thank the best fans in the ECHL for a fantastic 2008-09 season.  Although it's never easy for the season to come to an end, we are so very grateful for the great strides our hockey organization made this season.  Under the leadership of head coach Matt Thomas, the Thunder advanced further in the Kelly Cup playoffs this year than any previous season in our brief four-year history.  The excitement generated during our two seven game series against Ontario and Las Vegas was sensational and has provided us with even more incentive to go further in the future. While we strive to continue to improve ourselves as a hockey team, the one thing that has remained consistent and atop the ECHL are you...our fans.  For the fourth consecutive year the Thunder led the ECHL in attendance with 223,854 fans pouring into the Stockton Arena this season.  That brings our four year total to 935,640, a truly phenomenal number that each and every one of you should be so very proud of.  Next year will be the 5th anniversary season of Stockton Thunder hockey and we will also be ushering in our ONE-MILLIONTH fan in franchise history.  We've already begun planning for these two milestones and are very much looking forward to our great fans being a part of it.  Once again, thanks so much to each and every one of you for being a part of the Thunder family and we look forward to seeing you during the 2009-10 season.
