Lafrance enters his rookie year of pro hockey after completing his junior career with Victoriaville of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last season. The 5-foot-9, 189-pound native of Granby, Quebec led his team in scoring during the 2007-08 campaign collecting 41 goals and 48 assists for 89 points in 68 games.
Lafrance also made his pro debut last year with the ECHL's Texas Wildcatters scoring two goals in two regular season games.
Bina also enters his first season of professional hockey after playing his college hockey with the University of North Dakota from 2003-2008. The 5-foot-8, 180-pound native of Grand Forks, North Dakota collected 13 goals and 61 assists for 74 points in 149 career games with the Fighting Sioux. Bina led all North Dakota defensemen in scoring during the 2006-07 season with 10 goals and 22 assists for 32 points in 43 games.
Chwedoruk returns to the Falcons after playing in three regular season games for Springfield last year collecting one goal and two penalty minutes. The 5-foot-9, 175-pound native of St. Albert, Alberta scored his first AHL goal as a member of the Falcons on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Worcester. Chwedoruk started his pro career during the 2005-06 season splitting time with the Central Hockey League's Lubbock Cotton Kings and Oklahoma City Blazers. During the 2006-07 campaign, he finished fourth on the United Hockey League's Quad City Mallards in scoring collecting 24 goals and 44 assists for 68 points and 110 penalty minutes in 71 games. Last season, he split time between Springfield and the ECHL's Bakersfield Condors and Wheeling Nailers.
