The Thunder
Experience:

Best Fans, Best Arena, Best Place to Play in the ECHL!
Winner of ECHL's Team "Award of Excellence" for 2006-07

The Stockton Thunder Experience is a memorable one.

Just ask 2007 ECHL All-Star Goalie Devan Dubnyk:
"Certainly it was overwhelming being in Stockton - a whole lot more than I ever expected. It was a treat to be there - there was excitement in the city from day one, and the fans followed through with it until the last game of the season. So it was an absolute treat playing there."

From Thunder owner Michael Reinsdorf:
"The success of the White Sox and Bulls in Chicago is represented, in part, by how well-run the organizations are and I firmly believe the root of the Thunder's success is no different. With our large, passionate fan base and state-of-the-art arena, our belief is that if our organization is run at the highest professional level possible, it translates into success on the ice. Each player that steps into the Thunder dressing room is ensured the highest professional care possible, from sticks, to gloves, to training facilities."

Stockton has welcomed the Thunder with open arms! The Thunder was #1 in the ECHL in attendance for the second straight season with a total of 244,085 fans throughout the 2006-07 season. That's an average of 6,780 fans per game. The Thunder sold-out the beautiful Stockton Arena 3 times and had 10 crowds of 8,200 or more in 2006-07. The waterfront Stockton Arena will host the 2008 ECHL All-Star Game and Skills Competition, seats up to 9,737 fans and features top-notch player facilities such as a state of the art training room, steam room, and sauna.
